JOH implements Jabber Over HTTP interface, which enables access to a Jabber server from behind firewalls which do not allow outgoing sockets on port 5222.

The current version implements HTTP Polling (XEP-0025.html) and HTTP "CONNECT" methods. The support for Bidirectional-streams Over Synchronous HTTP (BOSH) is planned.
